Privacy Policy

Statement of Intent

This policy sets out how Sacha Taylor from The Corsham Practice uses and protects the information that you provide when you use her services and website. It is Sacha’s intention to ensure that any data you provide is managed respectfully, kept secure and only used for the purposes for which it has been provided, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations, effective from 25th May 2018 (GDPR).

This policy will be updated from time to time in line with prevailing legislation and any changes or updates to the GDPR.

When you contact Sacha via The Corsham Practice website (https://www.corshampractice.co.uk), by phone (07957 397291) or email (info@corshampractice.co.uk) she will collect your information as follows:

•    Full Name

•    Email Address

•    Telephone Number

•    Any other information you choose to supply regarding the purpose of your enquiry.

How your information is used

Sacha uses your contact information in order to communicate with you and discuss your requirements. She may use additional information supplied to improve her services.

If you choose to go ahead with an appointment or sign up to one of her courses, Sacha will either:

  • ask you to complete a booking/consent form at time of booking (Hypnobirthing), or 

  • ask for further information related to, and as part of, your Initial Consultation (Hypnotherapy), or

  • ask you to sign an agreement, outlining your contract with her (Supervision) 

  • ask you to disclose any medical or physical impediments to lying down for 30mins (Relaxation Sessions)

The additional information collected may include details such as your address, date of birth, due date of your baby, your GP details or other information relevant to the purpose of our sessions together. Any and all information collected by Sacha is protected under this Privacy Policy, which has been written and shared with you to ensure clarity over how she will use and protect the information you provide in the course of your sessions together.

You may also be asked to tick relevant boxes of a consent form to evidence you are happy to receive promotional/further information about Sacha’s services, or if you are willing to provide feedback about your experience of working with Sacha at The Corsham Practice, or to agree to be contacted to be offered follow up sessions where applicable. You have complete freedom to choose any/all/none of the options and, where you do not tick a relevant box, Sacha will not contact you.

In the course of your sessions together, Sacha will make a note of information you provide in order so that she can plan future sessions, enhance her support for you, produce bespoke scripts as appropriate, or send you information/resources to support you.

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), effective from 25th May 2018

Under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), effective from 25th May 2018, you have the following rights:

  • The right to be informed. This is why Sacha has produced this policy

  • The right of access. If you wish to see your data/information, then please make a request in writing to Sacha Taylor at The Corsham Practice. The easiest way to do this is to email her at info@corshampractice.co.uk, and she will provide the relevant information to you within 30 days of your request.

  • The right to rectification. This is your right to request changes to any information Sacha holds that is factually inaccurate. If you believe any of the information she has about you is incorrect, then please let her know as soon as possible by emailing her at info@corshampractice.co.uk and she will make the appropriate changes.

  • The right to erasure or restrict processing. If you do not request deletion of your data sooner, Sacha’s professional insurance policy (with Holistic Insurance) stipulates that she is required to hold your data for a period of 7 years. After 7 years, all information related to your work together will be securely destroyed. With regard to your right to restrict processing, Sacha will only use the information you provide for the purposes that she has stated: However please note, most standards of confidentiality applied in professional contexts are based upon the Common Law concept of confidentiality where the duty to keep confidence is measured against the concept of “greater good”. If in a therapist's opinion, there is good cause to believe that not to disclose information would cause danger or serious harm to self, the therapist or others, then a GP or other appropriate agencies may be contacted. Only information required to ensure safety of relevant parties would be disclosed and information may have to be disclosed without consent for the prevention, detection or prosecution of a crime.

  • The right not to be subject to automated decision-making. Sacha at The Corsham Practice does not use any automated tools that could affect you and will not use your information for profiling purposes.

In addition to changes introduced to UK GDPR (2026) you have a right to raise concern with the data controller if you think that your personal information has been used in a way that doesn’t comply with the law. If you wish to raise an issue or complaint about how Sacha has handled your data at any time, you may do so by calling her on 07957397291 or emailing her at info@corshampractice.co.uk with details of your concerns. She will investigate and respond to you as promptly as possible, but certainly within 30 days of receiving your email, in line with the DUAA (2025) updated guidance regarding data protection. Should her reply not be satisfactory, you can escalate it to the Information Commissioner Office’s via their website: https://ico.org.uk, quoting Sacha’s ICO membership number: ZB669810.

Online Sessions

Where sessions are conducted online (Zoom, Google Meet, Facetime etc) the sessions are not recorded, nor are any AI note-taking facilities enabled. 

Cookies

Cookies are small files that ask permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive so that businesses can analyse web traffic to their website. Through this, businesses can see which of their website's pages are being viewed and are of interest. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your setting to decline them if you prefer.  If you choose to do this, you may find you cannot make full use of The Corsham Practice website.

Links to Other Websites

The Corsham Practice website may contain links to other websites or webpages of interest. However, once you use these links please be aware that you have left The Corsham Practice website and Sacha does not have any control over the other websites. She cannot therefore be held responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide when visiting such sites and these external sites are not governed by this privacy policy. Please exercise caution and look at the privacy statement/policy applicable to any external websites accessed via these links. If you notice a link has expired or changed, Sacha would appreciate it if you could let her know at info@corshampractice.co.uk so she can make any necessary amendments to her website.
